WEICON TOOLS - FAMED FOR THEIR SELECTION OF CABLE STRIPPERS

Weicon, based in Munster, Germany, develop, produce and distribute an extensive range of stripping tools. This includes cable knives, wire strippers, dismantling and multifunctional tools. They began in 1947 producing chemical items such as adhesives and sealants, technical sprays and high-performance assembly pastes and greases, which are used in production, repair, maintenance and servicing.

The family run business, now has a seperate Tools branch which develops and distributes the high-quality stripping tools under the brand name Weicon Tools, they have the same pride in the business as founder PW Weidling some 77 years on.

Their selection of tools has been developed for accurate, fast and safe stripping of all common cable types. They carry the GS seal of TÜV Nord and were developed under the crucial aspects of work safety. The tools are specifically tailored to the needs of professional users, crafts and industrial use, and are also suitable for domestic use.

In the 34 years Weicon have produced their own stripping tools they have worked with Ascheburg tool manufacturer Krampe Werkzeuge, and they have been delighted with the results, as their customers are. The company is typically strong on sustainability they admit: 'We at WEICON strive to use natural resources carefully and sparingly. This is why since the beginning of 2020, we have been packaging our tools in recyclable cardboard boxes and thus avoiding plastic completely.

They now have Weicon branches in Holland, Italy, Spain, Czech Republic, Romania, Turkey, and further afield in Dubai, Singapore, South Africa and Canada - a genuine worldwide company. A fine new addition to our ever growing brand selection.
