The company is run by father and son, Peter and Nicholas McVeigh, who between them have nearly 100 years combined experience in the lighting industry.

Status has been trading for over 30 years and is located at its head office in Birkenshaw, West Yorkshire, with a warehouse, distribution centre, in house design studio and laboratory. It also has warehousing and distribution centres close by in Cleckheaton.
